The Young And The Restless actress Hunter King reportedly gave the soap opera's producers an ultimatum involving the police before they fired her co-star Michael Muhney.
Fan favourite Muhney, 38, announced last month via Twitter that he was suddenly departing the long-running CBS show after playing Adam Newman for four years.
It later came to light that 20-year-old King filed a complaint with network bosses after Muhney allegedly grabbed her breasts on two separate occasions.

King took her complaint to top officials at CBS and Sony and threatened police involvement unless they acted, according to an article on Monday in RadarOnline.com.
'Hunter demanded Michael be fired or else she would file a police report against him,' an anonymous source said.
Muhney previously had disagreements with show writers and co-star Eric Braeden and the decision was made to let him go, the source added.

King has yet to file a police report.
Meanwhile, a group of Y&R fans are taking their outrage over Muhney's firing to the skies.

Muhney scored a Daytime Emmy nomination this past year for Outstanding Lead Actor for his work on the soap.
King, who is 18 years Muhney's junior, plays his character's niece Summer Newman on the soap opera.

The father-of-three took over the role of Adam Newman from Chris Engen in 2009 and announced on Twitter on December 17 that he had been fired.
'I'm so sorry. It breaks my heart to say this, but I was just let go from Y&R. My last day on set is this Thursday,' he began.
'My last air date will be Jan 30th. I'm going to take some private time with my wife & kids, as I am most concerned for their well-being...
'I have 3 final episodes to film, and because they are my last, I will be giving it everything I have. More details will follow... #xoxoxo.'
The straw that broke the camel's back: Hunter worked alongside Michael - playing Adam's niece, Summer Newman - since 2012 and allegedly suffered several incidents of bullying and harassment at his hands
Muhney will celebrate his 14th wedding anniversary with his wife Jaime on February 11.
The couple are parents to 11-year-old Dylan, six-year-old Ella and 14-month-old son Truman.
