Brian McFadden has let rip at his ex-wife Kerry Katona in a foul-mouthed Twitter rant, responding to accusations he isn't a decent father to their two children.
In a series of misspelled postings which he later deleted, the former Westlife singer suggested Katona 'take bowl of mayonaise drenched chips out of your face and look in the mirror!'
McFadden, 30, who lives in Australia, hit back after she claimed in a weekend interview that he barely speaks to their daughters - with their youngest, Lilly-Sue, not even knowing who he is.

McFadden, now engaged to Aussie singer Delta Goodrem, wrote: 'I've kept my silence too long and i cant keep it anymore.... its killing me and my beautiful fiance and mum and dad and my friends. ENOUGH!'
'a certainj pig faced mole has suggested my own daughter lilly doesn't know me and that i never speak to my kids..
'FACT I call my girls at least twice a week and have a beautiful relationship with my daughters...'
But Katona, 29, insists their daughters only speak to their father about five times a year.
Rant: Brian McFadden let off steam about ex-wife Kerry Katona on his Twitter page; he later apologised and deleted the posts
She told the News Of The World: 'He phones the girls about five times a year but Lilly doesn't really know who he is. I've never told them what really happened.'
McFadden also responded to Katona's jibe that he was 'the fat one from Westlife.'
'and call me fat! take bowl of mayonaise drenched chips out of your face and look in the mirror!' he wrote, under his Twitter name Brian McNugget.
Allegations: Kerry Katona, pictured with Molly Sue and Lilly, claims they rarely talk to their father; the girls were returning from an Easter trip to visit their Irish family
Molly, eight, and Lilly-Sue, seven, live with Katona in Wilmslow, spending holidays with their father, or his family in Ireland.
They are often seen with their mother, who has two younger children with estranged husband Mark Croft, and feature in her new reality TV show.

This angered McFadden, who commented: 'wish certain fs would stop selling there [sic] stories to rags and find a real job. not one that means you shove kids face in front of a camera.'
McFadden, who is pursuing a music career in Australia, later apologised to his 37,000 followers.
'Sorry for bringing my personal anger to twitter.... lets have some fun,' he said.
He also responded to comments from U.S. gossip columnist Perez Hilton who told him 'Go protect your babies! Go get 'em!', by saying attempts to win custody had failed.
Katona said McFadden was the one missing out.
'Brian has a new life in Australia now. I'm not bitter, I'm just sad for him.
'He's missing out on two amazing little girls.'
Katona admitted she was angry about McFadden's previous comments about her, adding: 'Whenever I'm in trouble he lays into me.'
McFadden branded her behaviour 'disgusting' and an 'embarrassment' after reports that she enjoyed three-day cocaine binges with Croft.
McFadden and Katona wed in 2002 but the marriage was almost over before it began, when Katona learned McFadden had cheated with a lapdancer days before they tied the knot.
She said: 'That killed it for me. I loved Brian and I trusted him. I remember thinking, "But he's the fat one from Westlife. Why would he do this to me?".'

After splitting from husband Croft, Katona has signed with a new management company and is moving to a new home in Sussex.
Yesterday removal men were spotted loading a truck ahead of the move.
Amongst the belongings were the contents of 'Crofty's' bar - a drinks dispenser, pool table and juke box.
Not coming: the pool table is being put into storage, while other belongings are moving to Katona's new Sussex home
Expensive purchases: But will Katona want 'Crofty's' bar in her new home, or have space for the life-size Santa?
As bystanders watched, the belongings just kept on coming. It seems the Katona family love Christmas - a lifesize Santa Claus was amongst the unwieldy items.
And there were poignant reminders of her once sky-high popularity.
The T-shirt Katona wore on I'm A Celebrity... was carried out in a frame, labelled 'Queen Of The Jungle'.
On leaving the jungle Katona was greeted by then-husband McFadden, but the pair were soon to split.

But not everything will find a space in the new family home.
After downsizing from her mansion, Katona will be putting lots of her items in storage.
The rejected belongings are sure to include reminders of her recently failed marriage - a mirror personalised with ex-husband Croft's name amongst them.
